In downtown Minneapolis, the city has a painting put up with the sun and lots of pine trees. The sun is made out of a circular swirl, and all of the pine trees are made out of the triangle swirl. Think I should take a picture and post it here?
It can't hurt I suppose... we always want to find symbols that have context/meaning... they are rather simple. It's easy to confuse a normal "swirl" with this symbolism IMO. However, if there happens to be context (the artist, the location, past events/crimes) paired with the symbol, that's when it could become a potential data point.
This symbol showing up in a Disney movie where the star of the film is related to a Hollywood star who was just accused of raping minors? That's context.
