Jason James Murphy raped an 8 year boy in 1996 and when faced with abduction charges abducted him. He was apprehended with the 8 year old across the country in a hotel in New York, and was the series of a nationwide manhunt that even made Americas Most Wanted, when the boy was abducted from Seattle. Note that the very well-made "Open Secret" by a woman director with a top rep didn't ever get more than a couple independent theaters to show her film. Nor did she ever receive the normal press coverage. Earlier "The Franklin Scandal" Documentary was completely pulled from the TV schedule despite written announcements of its coverage. Wonder why?
