Everything about this post and contained in this post was very disturbing and difficult to get through. For all intents and purposes, on its surface, Bandcamp looks benign. What piqued my interest was the fact that most of, if not all of Comet Ping Pong's musical acts are Bandcamp members. Since sometime in 2008 to date, Bandcamp fans have paid artists $236 million.

Its founder is Ethan Diamond. Its programmers are Shaun Grunberger, Joe Holt, and Neal Tucker. All of whom I know nothing about. Bandcamp is one of several websites (such as Soundcloud and Spotify) used by smaller bands to distribute music cheaply and efficiently. These sites are where you put your music as a beginning artist..

Earlier this year, Bandcamp donated all of its sales for 1 day to the ACLU in support of immigration and basic human values. They recently launched a new campaign for transgender rights with the Transgender Law Center (TLC). On 08/04/2017, Bandcamp donated 100% of all sales to the TLC (I recall those initials used to stand for Tender Loving Care).

And finally, came across this you tube video accidentally (with over a million views) of a young girl while scrounging-around in Bandcamp. I was incapable of watching more than 2 minutes of it. Video comments state this child is 11 years old. She is a member of Bandcamp and Soundcloud, has several you tube videos, and a twitter account. I essentially skimmed over the material as it is all difficult to view.

My #1 question is how do we get this disgusting trash off the internet and bring justice? There has to be a way.
