Most of my friends that worked there are dead from cancers. At least 50 of them died within 10 years. I can agree about Chernobyl, but it didn't happen mid air. Yes and that would mean lower Manhattan should be even MORE radioactive not less. The melt down at Chernobyl was inside a massive concrete structure built to contain the radioactivity.
Its an island surrounding by wind and water close to 3 waterways, one is the Hudson River, Jamaica Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Debry made it to the ocean in Belle Harbor. So where would it go, if its denotated mid air?

I could be wrong but thats my best theory and yes people are still dropping like flies from the cancer. I lost 3 friends in their early forties just this year.
