  1. In 1986 Lamar Alexander, founded a child care business. It's name was Corporate Child Management.

  2. Senator Alexander made a nice profit when he sold the business.

  3. The new owners named the business: Bright Horizons.

Bain Capital, which Romney co-founded and led, owned Bright Horizons. Romney did not have direct ownership.

Bright Horizons is publicly traded under the ticker symbol BFAM.
