In 1986 Lamar Alexander, founded a child care business.
It's name was
Corporate Child Management.
-
Senator Alexander made a nice profit when he sold the business.

Thank you for finding that old post and expanding on it. I'm pleased this is getting attention. Here's a more recent case of abuse at a Bright Horizons.

Thank you✋
Co. sems to be L. A. R. G. E.
Seems to be associated with many names.
Operates nurseries.
Owned by Mitt Romney.
I will check to see if
it is publically traded.

Bain Capital, which Romney co-founded and led, owned Bright Horizons. Romney did not have direct ownership.
Bright Horizons is publicly traded under the ticker symbol BFAM.
