The North Carolina man who commandeered a pizza restaurant at gunpoint in Northwest Washington to investigate a false Internet rumor of a pedophile ring there was sentenced to four years in in prison Thursday. Edgar Maddison Welch, 28, who apologized to his victims and residents in the nation’s capital last week in a court filing, asked for an 18-month sentence for charging into Comet Ping Pong last December carrying a fully loaded AR-15 military-style rifle and revolver seeking to investigate a viral Internet rumor known as “Pizzagate.”

Zero. He did not flee the the scene and was facing no criminal charges. Auto accidents are not automatically a criminal offense.

He also didn't run the kid over, he clipped him, which is significant.

Of course AreWeSure and thank you for pointing that out to @AssFaceSandwich2 because I was about to open up on him with both barrels myself for thinking just for one second that the fact no criminal charges were filed could possibly have been part of a plea bargain.

I mean seriously do people really think Rich White Fascists inside the Deep State could ever in a million years do something so diabolical as pass a modernization act that allows the government to stage "Domestic Propaganda" "Public Diplomacy Broadcasting" in the hopes of unethically influencing public opinion.
