This thing about 3 month old pasta being somehow "weird" drives me crazy. Dry pasta is good for a very long time. If the Podesta's make pasta, for a xmas gift, for example, I'm sure it would still be good in 3 mos. (Dry, homemade pastas.)

I'm more concerned that the Podestas babysit anyone, than anything about pasta.

John Podesta isn't going to eat pasta, dry or cooked, that he has to "settle" for.

Why would the reference a specific pasta that might not have been consumed yet? Just say you want to have Pasta, not you want that pasta from a few months ago from Sheila's party. Yeah, I think it is weird.

because they are referencing a gift. They won't be able to visit John instead will use they gift he gave them.

And the need for discretion?

Are_we_sure ago

Discretion has multiple meanings. It means making good judgements in this case, not being private. Shakespeare wrote that in the 1590s, so it is not modern usage. Discretion is the better part of valor means not to be foolhardy. In this case it means, let's not drive on an icy road

Podesta gets to 'babysit' and what do they get in return? The extent of exploits is profound, do you know about Parabiosis?
