Also:

1) Never use the same password twice for any accounts, and make sure those passwords aren't remotely similar to any password you use in real life.

2) NEVER offer anything remotely personally identifying. I see things here that someone with access to certain databases could use to dox. Keep your location to a major metro area if relevant. That's it.

3) Do not store any of your notes in the cloud. I would surmise that Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. are all backdoored at this point. Want to know what someone posted here on Voat? Take a 20 word "clip" and drop it into the backdoor crawler and see whose account is associated with what amounts to a unique ID.

4) Be careful of what you may cross-post between this world and your life. Some here have the luxury of going balls out on every form of social media. Some of us do not. For those who cannot, this is serious business.

If you need to ever have something shared broadly, I will get the word out. Safety in numbers. I am a share a holic. I am not hard to find at all
