i think its a good idea. one of the downsides to using platforms like voat or reddit and even /pol is that they weren't intended for research groups which results in many leads getting buried and forgotten about. this could help but ultimately there needs to be a better platform.

Askbot (an open source platform) might be nice for that purpose, but putting something like that up would require a trusted member with a server (and some time, of course)

Maybe gather a team of trusted members around this and let them into your server (excluding myself right away, time matter as well).
