This isn't up for debate. Jesus was crucified for wanting to destroy The Law and for claiming he was God. After Jesus drove out all the money changers and a all the sacrificial animals out of the Temple he told the crowd I will tear down this house and in 3 days build another.
"This house" was the Temple in Jerusalem and it represented The Law. It would kind of be like someone going down to Washington DC and driving out all the state reps and Senators from the Capital building and telling the crowd who'd gathered outside: "I will tear down this Capital building and replace it with something better in three days."
Would whoever did that be interested in keeping a portion of the laws passed by that Congress? Of course not, don't be silly.
