It's a cradle to grave religion, so it works well to control people. When you're born there's a dog and pony show, when you die same thing (last rites). The priest was the most important man in the room when Kennedy died. It's better if you're alive before you get the last rites, so the priest said that he thought JFK was indeed still alive when he did the holy oil and other mumbo jumbo. Then he got in trouble when he announced to the press (before the medical team) "Oh he's dead alright."

Now, this last rites thing was good for Kennedy 'cause he got "absolved" from all his sins, and trust me, he needed "absolving." With the Roman "church" you can live like hell but still go to heaven. When the Spaniards first "converted" the Native Americans they allowed them to keep their wickedness, voodoo, and sorcery so they could claim them as part of the fold.

In other words, they're one screwed up religion. "Come out of her my people." Sorry Roman Catholics, but hey, at least you don't have to deal w/ people like Benny Hinn and Joel Osteen.
