There's simply no reason to keep falling for this. A genuine insider with genuine information of crimes who wanted to make a splash would leak to a real media organization so that the leak would have a real impact. He/She would let that organization examine the information and the claims and see if they held up. Anyone going anonymously to 4chan or reddit or any of nonsense news blogs ARE NOT intending on having an impact. They are just doing it to play you. The nonsense news blogs don't have sources. They simply make it up, becuase they know their audience will go for it if the story pushes the right buttons. If you engage the emotions and cause outrage, people don't tend to think critically. They don't look at the details.

I don't know about DHS insider but I can think of a very good reason for believing FBIAnon is for real. Immediately before one of the FBI document dumps of Hillary's emails FBIAnon signed off mentioning a specific email from the data dump.
Well wouldn't you know that very email was the FIRST ONE in that release. And it wasn't the chronologically first email in case you're thinking some FBIAnon impostor calculated the what the date of the first email should have been.
It was proof enough for me FBIAnon is real. Although lately I've been having my doubts given FBIAnon mentioned James "Howdy Doody" Comey was really on our side. That's bull shit. Howdy Doody was on the board of HSBC, the money launderer to the 1%.
Get ready AreWeSure, the truth is going to come out and you've been so wrong for so long I worry about your sanity. Waking up from such a massive self-delusion isn't going to be pretty.

With the information that came out of Wikileaks, seems like practically all of the "mainstream" media is compromised and controlled
Even spilling information to the local media is no guarantee whatsoever that it will be actually be aired.
