Everyone is Jesus. That's what he meant. If you are living life to go to someplace, heaven, your'e not living. If you never died, and you had eternal life, you wouldn't be happy. You'd get bored. You'd get sick of your wife/husband. You'd go through every possible universe that could ever exist. You'd mold physics. Eventually, you'd want to die. You wouldn't even want to "check in" on Earth because you'd have already played out the rest of humanity until the extinction of our species and the cooling of the universe. You'd have gone back and played the role of every human to have ever lived. You'd make different games. Endless permutations that you could whim up. But eventually, you would tire of this reality.
You want to sleep sometime when this whole show gets too much for you. Everyone does. We were born from "nothingness", and we get to rest in it. There is no alternative. There is no abolition of this "yin" and "yang". This entire hatred of death is entirely synthetic. It is a disease in our culture. We all have to let go someday. This shouldn't scare you. It's the best way it could possibly be.
We all have a personal relationship with Him. We are him. We are all Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. That doesn't mean that I don't go to church. That doesn't mean that it's all "bullshit". It just means that when I pray, I am not looking "in". I feel the presence of everything, everywhere in me, and around me. I don't ask for someone "out there" to give me something. I just say thanks to "it". To the joy of this entire experience.

Jesus is my Lord and my faith is strong in Him. You're the one who is deceived. I talk to God in my prayers, there's nothing you can do to change or sway my decision. I already know the Truth of God and I have a personal relationship with Him.
