Happened upon this article completely by accident. It documents several disturbing and investigatively interesting facts such as:

  • Over a year period in Texas, 14,000 chiildren who had been subjects of reported abuse were not followed up with by CPS within 72 hours (3 days)
  • Half of children who died were already in CPS radar

* CPS houses children in offices and hotels (what???!!!!)

So much more, including possible people to investigate.

That was heartbreaking, incentives for snatching kids? What? All on the taxpayers dime? What? This is so messed up on so many levels... what a brave woman, her death is a seed that died, so that there may be positive growth. I pray she did not die in vain...
