Happened upon this article completely by accident. It documents several disturbing and investigatively interesting facts such as:

• Over a year period in Texas, 14,000 chiildren who had been subjects of reported abuse were not followed up with by CPS within 72 hours (3 days)
• Half of children who died were already in CPS radar

* CPS houses children in offices and hotels (what???!!!!)
