Since I posted the information on the mayor of Seattle being sued and more, I have continued to look into this, even though my post was buried and copycat ones have arisen. What I have found is that many mayors are convicted felons, related to harming children. Here is another one:

From the article: "Becker, who is married and has two children, is charged with attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, possession of child pornography, child enticement, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, attempt exposing a child to harmful material and misconduct in office. The charges carry a maximum penalty of more than 114 years in prison and $370,000 in fines."

He was convicted and then he was arrested again on probation violation charges:

Seattle's homosexual mayor, Ed Murray, who is accused of molesting three teenage boys in the 80's, is now being sued by one of his victims.

Murray is running for e-election this year and denies everything, but there are two other victims who have surfaced producing similar details to the accuser in the lawsuit: details about Murray’s 1980s Capitol Hill apartment, Murray’s phone number at the time, and a description of the mayor’s genitals: both D.H. and Anderson describe Murray as having an unusual bump or mole on his penis and bright red pubic hair.
