The man yelling hits the separation with a broomstick while he attempts to control the child's screaming. There is a clear ball of light emanating from the floor and water running so I theorize it could be boiling hot water and minor electric shock. Also some say that the child screams "Skippy!" when asked what is other name is but that is controversial.
