The emails, numbering more than 1,000, were found on a computer used by both Weiner (D-N.Y.) and his wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, according to law enforcement officials with knowledge of the inquiry who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

That's kind of a weird way of putting it. Do they mean somewhere less than 2,000? I heard people say it was 650,000 emails on the laptop. 650,000 is more than 1.000 but is that how you would say it. I wonder if the reporter asked the question in an odd way. Did they mean only 1,000 of the emails involved Clinton? (Also this story has 19,000 comments. Wow.)

Oct 31 Found out where the 650,000 email figure comes from. The majority don't concern Clinton. WSJ reported it, they also reported that at the time of Comey's letter, the FBI did not have a warrant to look at Clinton's emails.

So can we say At the time of Comey's letter on the 28th, the FBI didn't have a warrant for the Huma/Clinton emails.....their original warrant would have only applied to Weiner. The warrant was granted on Oct 30th.

Oct 7 Comey says email review doesn't change conclusions and no criminal charges are coming.

There's no way for all of the above to be true. Either Comey, the FBI and prosecutors are lying, TruePundit is lying or TruePundit was lied to. Can anyone think of any other possibility?

Evaluating the claims. **NYPD turned over a laptop to the FBI. ** Contradicted by earlier NY Times story on Oct 3. Can anyone find a source in Oct that says the NYPD got the laptop? This becomes pretty big, because unless the FBI showed it to the nypd, this would falsify all the claims about what was on the laptop.

500,000 emails to and from Hillary Clinton. This is contradicted by WSJ/Fox story. The total number seems to be 650,000, but only thousands would apply to Clinton. That's 1/11th of 650,000. So 650,000 seem to be every email by everybody on that laptop. Remember during her 4 year term as Secretary State her server only had about 30,000 work and 30,000 personal emails.

Also the FBI didn't have a warrant to examine the Clinton emails until the 30th, which if true, means Comey was not forced to reopen case by reading about stomach turning crimes on weiner's laptop.

I haven't seen anything to support these claims.

Laying all this out, just makes me realize how improbable all this is. There's supposed to be all this evidence of horrible and serious crimes and Comey knows that the NYPD had the laptop first and thus, many, many people may have seen this evidence. If multiple NYPD detectives had a copy of this evidence including NYPD brass, they wouldn't have to leak to Wikileaks. They have power. They could go public and would be able to garner coverage from every media outlet in the country. If this was true, they could easily take Comey down. Especially ever since January 20th. If there was genuine evidence of this baroque conspiracy, they would get a hearing in the White House.
