I am not really that religious at all, and he does a really nice job of keeping his religious viewpoints (which I can understand why he might hold seeing that he knows literal self-proclaimed anti-Christs hold power) mild and comforting. Some of the best analysis on "their" symbolism in "their" media that I've seen in my life. I don't really feel like he stretches it.
