For sure none of us are perfect, and I only come to the defense of Dave not because I thought Voat was against him, but because the image of him being made a mockery of made me support him that much more. Just like I knew I had to vote for Trump when I saw that GOP, Dems, and MSM hated him. I knew he was a threat for a reason.
I'm not sure about anything regarding Dave's personal life, and I honestly don't care. He's a reporter to me, reporting on the well-being of little ones world wide. That he really sleeps with a loaded pistol at night, I have no doubt.
I just hate the way he is always asking for donations, and that he genuinely seems to feel like he should be able to live off the donations based on what he has contributed. IMO he has not contributed jack shit, but that doesn't make him an enemy, just selfish. I like Webb a lot though.
