You know how many clones have been spawned in past years? Gab from Twitter, Voat from Reddit, vid.me and Vimeo from YouTube...and nothing ever takes them down. The sleeping masses are their lifeblood. People like us switching platforms changes nothing.
Well, in this instance streaming via another channel would afford us the opportunity to actually be received by anyone presented with a link. Whether we might hurt their market share or not, we would nevertheless retain the opportunity to disseminate coverage of the protest without censorship.
