I say the Secret Service needs time on ice. Start a special JTF in the military for protecting VIPs and test them out protecting our literal thousands of diplomats. If all goes well, scrap the Secret Service, or return them to being a special investigative office for counterfeit cash. At the very least, the damaging changes made by Obama to lower their standards in an effort to increase diversity should be reversed and recruitment should focus on hardcore loyalists to the protectee combined with mental stability and paramilitary skills in an urban environment.
Of course, I've always believed that the Secret Service wasn't there to protect the President, that they're only there to protect secrets. If the President doesn't comply with their orders, they hurt his family, who they basically have in custody, when you really think about it. Or they ruin him with a fabricated scandal. Or they kill him and he's replaced. In that sense, this could be a message to Trump. 'You better not dig too deep, because look just how close we can get to your grandkids.'
Makes you wonder, why did Obama really change the prerequisites for Secret Service procurement? They're now constantly flooded with applications. Was that to make it hard to perform psych evals, so CIA assets could come in? That'd explain creeps taking selfies with sleeping 8 year olds.
Bingo. Secret Service works for the Deep State if the order ever comes down for Trump to be assassinated or for one of his grandkids to be kidnapped the SS will make sure it happens as planned. They have to protect Trump from crazies same as any President but if and when it's decided at the highest level meaning Obama Soros Hillary Rothschild that Trump is to be taken out the SS will make sure they leave a gap in his security on that day or night in that location so Trump can be killed. At the moment they think they can get rid of Trump without killing him.
