Welcome to the third weekly Open Thread.
(History: Open Thread #1 | Open Thread #2)
The purpose of this thread is simple: to let you discuss anything and everything that, as per the rules of this subverse, wouldn't be allowed in submission form. This is an experiment with giving the community back some of its freedoms inherently lost in the approach of maintaining a strictly investigative environment, all the while maintaining that environment outside of the Open Thread.
Seize this opportunity to ask the community your most pressing questions, discuss meta strategies, or absolutely anything that the community is interested in.
Comments will be moderated according to the very liberal rule (3) of the Moderator Rules. Beyond that, this thread should be self-moderated by the community using votes.
This week we would also like to discuss the future of this thread with you. After two weeks, we've gotten some insight into the popularity of this format, and so far it hasn't proven to be exceedingly popular with the community, nor particularly productive. What do you think? Should we keep this going anyway, or should we experiment with something else (without changing submission rules)?
Let us know your thoughts and ideas.

Nobody does any research anymore! Its all complete riducoulousness lately. Seaman, Milo, Worldcorp ( what a joke)Alex Jones, magicians, Ashton Kutcher, random pizza shops, music lyrics. Did all the great detectives give up on here. What about the Hawaii connection, the Elpida home, Frank Guistra, Haiti and many more. I feel like this site has unfortunately hit a brick wall. Sad face.
