Welcome to the third weekly Open Thread.
(History: Open Thread #1 | Open Thread #2)
The purpose of this thread is simple: to let you discuss anything and everything that, as per the rules of this subverse, wouldn't be allowed in submission form. This is an experiment with giving the community back some of its freedoms inherently lost in the approach of maintaining a strictly investigative environment, all the while maintaining that environment outside of the Open Thread.
Seize this opportunity to ask the community your most pressing questions, discuss meta strategies, or absolutely anything that the community is interested in.
Comments will be moderated according to the very liberal rule (3) of the Moderator Rules. Beyond that, this thread should be self-moderated by the community using votes.
This week we would also like to discuss the future of this thread with you. After two weeks, we've gotten some insight into the popularity of this format, and so far it hasn't proven to be exceedingly popular with the community, nor particularly productive. What do you think? Should we keep this going anyway, or should we experiment with something else (without changing submission rules)?
Let us know your thoughts and ideas.

I like the idea of the open thread. Can you tell me what the easiest way to access it on a regular basis. Can it be saved to the sidebar for easy access?

Just search for it, or click save under the submission, which will save it into your own collection on Voat that you can access from your own profile.

I think I did that...saved it. I'll apply myself harder to find where the saved ones show up. Thanks.

Click on your user name. Look for the saved button. You can also find your submissions and comment buttons here also.
If you save a post before it is deleted you can find it here. You cannot save a post from the deleted section though.

thanks. found it. live to much on the fly sometimes and don't take the time for the details that make life easier.
