I've just been on their site. Sometimes I can get to an article, sometimes I get service unavailable. Right now 2:50pm CST 02/17/2017, I get Service Unavailable for the first page article on Marin County Pizzagate. 2:51pm CST same date, it's back up

Happy days if you were target of an attack you really need to harden up that wp installation. Step 1 move your admin page from wp-admin , just go into the file explorer and change the wp-admin.php file to a new name. God speed

Could it be because so many people went there to watch the vid that it overwhelmed the servers or something? Idk how those things work, just trying to think of if there's an alternate explanation other than a targeted attack.

Content is hosted on youtube, unfortunately a sustained outage like this means one of thee things you directly are being ddosed or the hosting providers core network is being ddosed - its just too easy to do, or the hosting providers servers and routers are on fire and bearded Linux ladies are out with fire extinguishers. I always hope for option 3 but it never seems to happen.

Go with siteground and cloudflare. No dedicated unless you have lots of time to admin, or money to get managed service

Only go dedicated if your A. web/linux savvy or B. you can get a managed solution where they will help you plug the security issues as they occur. Seems like you have a target on you for some reason !

Roll with the Punches, just get the info out. He's got a youtube, etc...... What he delivered yesterday against Israel and Saudis colluding with our CIA was core of the problem dirt. They can handle a partial defeat, losing a node, but that stuff right there is upper level.
