I just read about Chicago Aldermans in researching the Podesta brothers. The Alderman positions are like paid city councilors, but they are often favors handed out in a political machine, and it is not uncommon for them to never show up for their duties and take the money. They call it "being on the payroll" or something like that.
So this article is right along those lines - guy didn't show up, collected his salary BOOM they have him immediately on financial fraud, they even charge them with mail fraud when they get their paycheck mailed to them.
Now that they can charge him they can confiscate his computers and dig into the real target - I have no doubt that the pizza-related busnesses of his are peddling more than tomato pies.
Bravo law enforcement!
I can't help but think of this guy - as kinda goofy as he is, his approach made me think of the CCP Computer in a different light. https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1516075 - listen from about 1:38 "some sort of database that lists all this child sex..." I don't think he is literally correct, but, it gives one pause. hmmm.
