The Lyons sisters, Katherine 10 and Sheila 12, were kidnapped in 1975 during a trip to a shopping mall. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyon_sisters

The story is that there was a Texas Chainsaw Massacre-type of family from rural Virginia with a family outpost in Maryland. They were known for kidnapping and raping little girls. Several of them have been convicted of other crimes against children. The currently living family members are now all pointing fingers at each other.

“If there was a conspiracy, the conspiracy was back in ’75, when the people who were alive said ‘they’re coming up the mountain with girls’ — that would be the conspiracy,” Welch said.

The story is that one of them was seen talking to the girls at the mall right before they disappeared. I have happened to notice that Bedford is ALWAYS in the news for child pornography and frequently for child molestation. This is not the case for the surrounding areas. I can tell you that not many people live there and there isn't much of a reason to drive through it. It's not en route to anything important.

This is alarming. When you have so many in one area in a short period of time, and the whole nest isn't identified and destroyed, you have to think of law enforcement involvement. It's like that World Bank dude who got arrested for molesting a hotel maid; you can be a pervert for 40 years, but when they want to cut you lose, they set you up, or rat you out.
