Might have been mentioned before, but I thought I'd post some stuff I found.
In the past few months of this ongoing group research into child trafficking, many people have mentioned the name Clement Freud. Specifically people have spoken on his exposure as a known pedophile to the public eye, and for his involvement in the Madeline McCann case. There have been multiple reputable articles written on the subject, the one below is written by the telegraph
Telegraph article on Clement Freud:

Now based on Clements' grandfather Sigmund Freud's work on early sexual development I figured I would look into the history of his work
this article in particular led me on to an aspect of Freud's legacy I had never heard before, though seems to be quite public
Article By Simon Partridge | June 17, 2016, : http://heatst.com/world/clement-freud-abuse-doesnt-surprise-me-it-ran-in-the-family/
The article in part explains, and very briefly reviews the idea that Freud himself was a victim of early childhood abuse, and uses the series of letters written by Freud to a confidant Wilhelm Fliess as supporting evidence.
A couple searches after that and I found "The Freudian Coverup" as it seems to be named
TAKEN FROM WIKIPEDIA PAGE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Freudian_Coverup
The Freudian Cover-up, is a theory first popularized by social worker Florence Rush in the 1970s, which asserts that Sigmund Freud intentionally ignored evidence that his patients were victims of sexual abuse. The theory argues that in developing his theory of infant sexuality, he misinterpreted his patients' claim of sexual abuse as symptoms of repressed incestuous desire. Therefore, Freud claimed that children who reported sexual abuse by adults had either imagined or fantasized the experience.
(EDIT- I might also add, that FLORENCE RUSH's wikipedia page is also particularly insightful as to the nature of psychiatry and sexual abuse of children. Her page is small and well worth reading)
Now while this was popular in the 1970s, a full decade later a book, "The Assault on Truth" was released by author, Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson who was at one point director of the Sigmund Freud archives and acquaintance of Freud's daughter Ana Freud.
You can find all of this info on his wikipedia page
here is also a chapter out of book on critical thinking in film, involving Jefferey Massons story.
(while I do not necessarily agree with the chapters interpretation regarding the film I thought I would include it as it is well written and connects a film to a conspiracy theory which I think some people could enjoy, as well as being accurate in its tellings of events)

I realize this might be general information to many, but I should hope at least this reaches some people who had never heard of it.
Please excuse me if this is redundant at this point, I thought I would write this up as it seems people seem to be interested in "possible" old coverups
EDIT-NOT FINISHED
The Film Lolita has been discussed in the past here on VOAT as well,

When I studied psychology some of his theories and case studies didn't make any sense to me i.e dreaming of white horses = desire for parent. He really did seem to push the thought that children sexually desired their parents and that it was natural. God knows how many children were left to be abused when stories of molestation were passed of as just fantasies that were articulated, and that these fantasies were a normal phase in child development.
