Not sure what you mean. Everything is working fine for me.

Maybe you should look into this one as well. Very similar themes. https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1590861

I just read your post with interest. I've been doing a little research on Soros, his art museum in Kosovo which champions this type of art and how he uses contemporary art as one of the ways to destabalize nations.

I've not got much time at the moment but there are connections between Nitsch, Abramovic, Viennese Actionism, Action Research, the Tavistock Insitute.

First, here's a documentary on Viennese Actionists (includes Nitsch and Abramovic): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN-o8Dp4lmo

Performance actionism which was born in the early part of the 20th century and was a reaction to the commercialisation of the arts, and also politically motivated because of the wars and the politics of the time, originated in Central Europe. Often difficult to find in the literature is the symbiotic relationship with intelligence services like the Tavistock Insitute.

This link takes you to the chapter in the Handbook of Qualitative Research which links the Tavistock Institute with action research: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=X85J8ipMpZEC&pg=PA560&lpg=PA560&dq=viennese+actionism+actionism+research+tavistock&source=bl&ots=D2RbJ2K3lo&sig=IO2QkrX8ZrVje5BlssKvxlop0YM&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj_1rbEtfbRAhWsKsAKHa3XCUAQ6AEINDAE#v=onepage&q=viennese%20actionism%20actionism%20research%20tavistock&f=false

With Tavistock the literature often does not make it clear who is influencing who. Sometimes it's like a chicken and egg situation: which came first ?

Got to run..I'll come back to this shortly.

Holy Shit Tavistock. That's the connection I knew was there, but had not found yet. Thank you for the amazing research.. Wow.

This is deeply shocking. These two murals are far from being the kind of art that normally features on buildings in European cities. I haven't been to Brussels but I have been to Vienna, where there are a great many colourful and, by and large, pleasing murals on the blank sides of buildings. I'm wondering if it would be useful to contact the mayor of Brussels to demand an explanation.

cantsleepawink ago

Do try. Brussels is an odd place and the de facto capital of the European Union. Good thing Brexit happened.

Yes. We peasants are too ignorant and crude to understand the higher ups "art". They are the only ones who get it and are just cultured enough to condescend to us when we say WTF. Patting us on the heads and sending us on our way.

I may be going to Hell at the final judgement, but I will get grim satisfaction at seeing these people standing and receiving their judgment.

Fucking sick. I forwarded to drudge.

Found a strikingly similar picture here http://www.womeninthebible.net/bible-archaeology/human-sacrifice/

described as Abraham prepares to sacrifice his son Isaac. by Caravaggio.

throwaway345678 ago

One of them was based on that Abraham/Isaac instance in the bible (another popular reference with these creeps is Cronus eating his offspring) and I think one of the Brussels wall images was based on that painting you linked, or one similar/based on literally that painting.

VieBleu ago

the one on the street in Brussells doesn't provide that kind of biblical context.

OrwellKnew ago

Agreed. The animal is missing also in the Brussels version. And we know how they love to pervert the Good Word

In the Bible story Abraham is stopped at the last minute by God from sacrificing his son and so, to give thanks, he then substitutes a ram.
