So I came across this headline in my news feed on my way into work just now and thought it was a weird thing g to cover even for a grossly left-slanted place like Wired: (note I am on mobile and cannot feasibly archive, if someone could do me a solid!)
https://www.wired.com/2017/02/7-great-burner-phones/
The tone is unmistakable to me, especially since I've basically had to stop reading Wired for actual tech news since November because their slant is so severe.
I'm bringing this to attention regarding PG specifically because this is important awareness in the coming days as more and more criminals involved in what were investigating here are brought down. This is a how-to for people that think "Passw0rd" is acceptable and it needs to be fought. They don't get free passes anymore.
We may not be able to call out to everyone reading this crap but the public needs to know that this happened before household names start going down in flames. This is to prompt a discussion on how we can come bat these obvious outlets from helping them cover their tracks.
Thanks all, keep digging.

This feels more like a /v/pizzagatewhatever post. It's weird timing but advice for protecting your privacy isn't exclusive to JA and crew

I thought about it and I am at the mercy of the mods, but I will vehemently disagree that this sub is for strictly JA related things. PG has evolved since that broke and includes more than JA and his cronies (for the better, I think since it probably goes much deeper)
Either way I appreciate the feedback.

+1. It might also be more acutely on their minds given Russia influenced our election by leaking correspondence between parties who were rigging our election.
Or a 400 pound man, but the CIA says we should trust them. So IDK. :P
