I saw that was well. But their annual bust was last Aug, I think. And 474 people arrested in hardly insignificant. When was the last time you heard of that number of people arrested in a bust of any type?
It is definitely a good thing - no doubt about that. LA is safer now.
I wish they'd be more specific and inform us of where these children came from. Were their parents the ones arrested? Were the majority of the children elementary aged, middle school, junior high or highschool. If highschool aged, were they trafficked off the streets?
So many questions. Hopefully more info will come out in a day or so.
The fact that the article states all of the victims were being cared for by child welfare agencies left me with even more questions about the victims. None of them have families that can assume care of them? How is that possible unless these kids came from another country, were children of the perps, or were already in CPS custody.
