I saw another thread where people were speculating that this e-mail was referring to drugs. That may be, however a couple months ago this thread appeared on /r/the_donald.
Personally, I find this interpretation to be more believable. The OP writes:

THEY ARE BEING FORCED TO ENGAGE IN BEASTIALITY AND/OR ANIMAL ABUSE IN SOME OF THE CONTENT
Some are sassier than others, naturally.

The part about being cat and dog friendly doesn't really seem to fit with the assumption about the subject being drugs.
Other people speculate that the e-mail was sent to the Georgetown law board because they knew Podesta would be a recipient. I know this isn't particularly helpful, but I wanted to try to clear that up. I think the drug link here is erroneous.

Say you're peddling this kind of material... what better way to source it but from the federal archives where all of it eventually ends up? Assuming you place the right people inside, it's the most profitable crime because you have very little to invest and your moles will know to sabotage investigation.
