I was getting a lot of questions from mobile users about where the rules were. I'm not a mobile user myself but it may be something to look in from a design side of things /u/heygeorge not really sure what you could do about this but there it is.

Mobile users need to press the "hamburger" (3 lines at the top left of the sub and most pages) in order to view the sidebar.
I don't know if there's much that can be done about it... I'll put it on my current gigantic list now that the holidays have most all wound down.
