TL;DR - a relatively small number of airports in the US allow for international flights to land, with appropriate advanced notice. the relatively small airport 5 miles from the paule-carres property is one such airport. this is a compilation of information which looks at transportation options in winchester, VA. i believe it's relevant to the pizzagate investigation, but if it's too vague, i will repost in the whatever sub.

the winchester airport has "international landing" permission from the CBP - which allows international traffic to land/deplane with case-by-case permission.

this is relatively rare. there are 89 international airports in the us, out of 14000 or so.
