It was basically a very, very, very industrial neighborhood that people starting moving into. Perhaps some of the landlords converted loft buildings into residential. I think the building it is in used to be a cinderblock factory.

At the time, it was like there was a small little oasis of a neighborhood near the train station that folks lived in and the rest was factories. it was maybe three blocks long that had housing, a coffee store and a health food supermarket and some other retail stores and Robertas. It was the type of neighborhood artists who need space and cheap rent move into.
