would be so much more credible if the ecuadorian embassy just gave Assange back his internet... I mean the election is over right?

Wow... we might have a reason for all this mess. His internet has been disconnected. This would neatly explain everything. But no, at all has to devolve into a CIA plot.
It's the conspiracy theorist's version of Godwin's law.

I don't think anyone still argues that he's still in the embassy.
I would argue that he's almost certainly in the embassy. I have no facts at all to suggest otherwise.
