My grandma had one for us kids, but she didn't watch it. She called it the "Squawk box" and told me I musn't waste my time in front of it. Grandma is always right, always. I admit I do watch mine, but I restrict it to the true crime shows, there's a couple network shows, but mostly I'm into Netflix and the documentaries. ANYWHERE I can find interesting docs, I fall into a documentary wormhole. I think there's some good in tv, but it's like looking for a diamond in a pile of cow pies these days. I like to feed my brain, not dull it. I'm glad I didnt go falling victim to the crap shows they used to program people. That's the ONLY explanation I can come up with why people are lacking empathy. The celeb worship has ruined our country. They aint nothing but dust if that's what we pay them. Pay them dust, don't even watch out of morbid curiosity. The ratings WILL TALK.

And when the truth is out, they better not even DARE try to get exclusives, and shove journalists that researched to bring it the spotlight it needs. The reporters ignoring and participating in the arm of cover up, enjoy your "career" while it lasts. I've blocked these channels. Nobody else in the house watches it, we just use netflix. I think I'm in contract with my cable company...there should be a way to break the tv part. If people do this en masse, the cable companies will freak out.

Time for me to take a xanax....damn I'm over here shaking like a pup passin a peach pit :/

When I was a teenager, back in th 90's, I only knew 1 family that didn't watch television. Now I know several. People are waking up :)
