I understand the concern for people being hesitant to believe in any of this stuff in the first place, but I think that this is more believable in many ways. You can start by showing people that we are being completely lied to regarding key facts about ancient history. There is a much smaller barrier to entry, especially with those who don't even study science or history anyways. They can then be slowly shown that our leaders haven't changed since back then.

Anyways, I appreciate the constructive criticism.

Norman Mailer's novel Ancient Evenings shows how Egyptians lived day to day. Incest was common, etc. They didn't have Christian values, they were genius animals. Just like Joseph Campbell said Americans find the Japanese so hard to understand because for them, there was no "fall of man".
