Hey guys, just saw this NYT article talking about how Russia uses child porn as a tactic to make US gov't officials look bad. You'd think with the capability to hack a computer, they'd do much worse than essential just troll and put child porn on a computer. Seems like something a 15yr old would do to their friend to make their parents mad at them.

Anyway, this reminds me of that FBI doc from 2008 I believe about Project Flicker, an ICE investigation showing that more than 5000 gov't computers were suspected of having child porn of some degree on them.

The actual document screenshot is out there, I have it but idk how to attack a picture image.
Anyway, all this non-coverage of the Norway bust and the current large scale UK investigation on top of the pre-excuse for when child porn is inevitably found being "well... Russia did it" is all starting to seem so blatantly dumb of the MSM since it's now becoming safe to assume that if the MSM says something, the opposite is true.
Thoughts?

Actually didn't Snowden reveal that the government takes out those they want to be discredited by planting CP on their computer?

I can see how that would at least be plausible within US govt, because the US govt agencies can inspect each other, so they can plant it and then say "hey you should see if there's bad stuff on this guy's conputer", and it sounds reasonable. If Russia plants CP on a US agent, they're not going to tell the US to inspect his computer - that doesn't make any sense. They'd just have to hope that maybe at some point someone would happen t stumble across it. That's not a good sabotage strategy if it would take years or maybe never get discovered.
