Since my call-to-arms comment in the previous sticky seemed to be almost 100% ignored, you get to read this first.

We need someone that will update and organize a sticky-worthy post of what is KNOWN. This person does not have to be the best at investigating new leads, they just need to be awesome at taking a lot of information from lots of places and CRUSHING THE LIFE OUT OF THAT INFORMATION to make a sticky-worthy post of nothing but diamonds of VALID information.

This sticky-award is not permanent. As soon as someone comes up with a better sticky-worthy submission, THAT one gets stickied.

USERS:

This is also a general call-to-arms to let you know a few things: (subject to change)

1) Banning shills will both not help, and will harm the mods and subverse here on Voat.

2) Banning shill leads is not something we're likely to ever be able to do - a flair is probably the best you're going to get.

3) Removal of posts is frowned upon and puts mods under the microscope. We WILL remove for removal-tier rules, but if there's even an ounce of uncertainty, the post will likely just get a flair.

4) WE NEED YOUR HELP to call out these shills. Comment where you find their bullshit and call it out, or find a shill you hate and follow that fucker around and 1000-years-of-pain that faggot.

5) WE NEED YOUR HELP with pinging us to rule violations or things to look out for. There are thousands of you guys, and 10? of us. We're not always active and not always able to pick up what you're putting down, which brings me to...

6) BE CLEAR IN YOUR SUBMISSIONS AND (info-heavy)COMMENTS. Links. Archives. Description of WHY THEY ARE RELEVANT.

Thanks buddy for 'welcoming' me to Voat. I suggested some constructive changes in the interest of the goals of the PizzaGate, given the post is the sticky and the first thing people read. A few words could be taken out and exactly the same meaning retained BUT without putting off people who are not in the bubble of internet forum subculture. They come here to find out if PizzaGate is a "thing" or a bunch of internet crazies.

Now imagine you are an average mom or dad, concerned about PizzaGate but unsure if its nuts, and you want more info. You'd never been to a forum before and you read this

Honestly. The average person will read that on the MAIN STICKY and judge the entire forum by it and thin - "This is just a bunch of angry young men who don't get enough sunlight". Not my thoughts. I KNOW that's what the average person would think. You disagree fin, what do YOU think their first impression would be?

The OP can change or not change, i could care less. But i do care about PizzaGate.

And "self appointed PC police?" WTF? my post isn't about tolerance its about a professional public-facing sticky which draws in as many people as possible.

As for your previous posts about people can "fuck off back to Reddit" - that just reeks of internet tribalism, as do your other posts where you give a very strong sense of entitlement as being someone who has been on Voat longer than most of us. Most people coming here will be from outside forums, probably from social media.

THEY could not give a shit about Voat etiquette or its history or whats "the done thing" here. Or weird competitiveness / slagging off about Reddit / Voat /4Chan. They just care about stopping sick bastards fucking and selling kids. Got it?

The rest of your post is just noise, i didn't bother reading your rant as its irrelevant to me and my post, and is clearly a projection of your own frustrations at PC / SJW culture (which i can sympathise with but not when its linked to me by a rando who knows nothing about me).

You come across as a very defensive individual and more than a little bit OTT and paranoid. Thats just my impression, based on your posts. Hope i am wrong.
