It was one of the first things I noticed:
Police seized a folding knife and three guns from the scene, including a Colt .38 handgun, a Colt AR-15 rifle, and a shotgun. Two of the guns were found on the alleged gunman and one was recovered in a vehicle, according to police. The restaurant suffered at least $1,000 worth of damage to a door, door lock, computer tower, and barrier wall.

Now if they DO get investigated they can just say, "Aww, too bad, the computer was damaged by the shooter."
They needed a plausible reason to get rid of the evidence. I bet they now have a shiny new, squeaky clean computer at Comet Ping Pong.

They want double/triple legitimacy. And they want to get out ahead of the citizen investigation in case there is ever an official investigation.
And I never said it was the MAIN reason for the false flag. I am certain that the MAIN reason for the operation was to discredit pizzagate, give a reason for the necessity of massive censorship, to grow their FakeNews narrative, and create an excuse for them to crush pizzagate. Destroying the hard drive (if in fact it has been destroyed) was just the icing on the cake.
