Not agreeing is one thing--- but saying something is "false" with no basis whatsoever is another thing entirely. I want people to prove me wrong, but not with the absence of facts. That is what is happening now. People aren't even bothering to watch or read for themselves before coming at people with the flaming torches. It's sad. And it isn't only me
there are multiple Issues at hand. We are getting flooded by people interested in the topic for whatever reason. Its not only honest interest, its also curiosity or just boredom. Also our society is on a spectrum of intelligence and education, there are not-educated people honestly caring about children as well as there are well educated trolls.
People are emotionally invested, I just mediated some cases of this yesterday, and people feel paranoid of other people being just here to deceive and disrupt. The chans have this issue for years now, as they are on of the last open boards on the internet that are basically unmoderated free speech. The accumulation of nonsense AND extremist opinion is palpable, but you will never know how much of that is just distraction by companies like Correct the Record. I agree, having secretive communication aswell is important, but dont abort the open channels because of the climate. It is the easiest method of the powers that be to make us uncomfortable here, it is the virtual version of agents provocateurs
