Deletions of comments is what caused this sub to go into meltdown mode a few weeks ago. We get yelled at for censorship all the time just for deleting bad posts, although that does seem to be a minority. There are plenty of comments that deserve to get deleted. We know there are shills and trolls here, and it's not hard to spot them, but part of what makes voat voat is the fact that it was intended to be a completely open platform with no censorship. If there was undeniable, overwhelming support for comment moderation, we might do it, but the risks right now are greater than the reward.
