He's buying a home worth millions, deals with Art and has a pizza place. C'mon, people. #followthemoney

It is not a fast food place. It is fancy pizza!

The vast majority of employees are part time.

According to google earth the front part of the building is 76 by 23 feet, 1750 sq feet or 172.5 sq m. According to google they do deliver:'https://www.doordash.com/store/comet-ping-pong-washington-4066/.

700 pizzas would imply the need room to store or get food in daily. How many cars do they have for delivery? How many tables, seats? Someone has to eat the pizza beeing produced - if they really buy that many stuff in the first place.

Get a load of this video interview with Alefantis. He says they make 700 pizzas a day.

A pizza a minute, every minute, for 12 hours straight? Riiiiight.

Btw, he's prohibited from delivery as per his neighborhood commission's agreement. He has no carryout, and capacity is listed at 150 persons. Not that he has even half that in patron seating.

20 employees isn't much at all. There's probably a couple managers, a couple cooks, a couple makeline people, and a couple greeters. If they deliver they need a bunch of drivers. They don't all work at once. Most are part time and work 3 or 4 days a week at various shifts. On weekends they require a few more and on days like Monday and Tuesday a lot less.

Good catch, but in another article Alifante claims to have FORTY employees. Comet is closed weekdays and open 5:00-9:30 M-Th and 11:30-9:30 Friday and Saturday. Forty employees is a huge number even for a full time restaurant that holds +200 customers at once.

And in an even earlier interview, he boasted 70. He was then talking about Buck's too, IIRC. Still way too high. Consider he could share employees between the two shops to keep the head count under control. No way can I reconcile his conflicting claims.

When I worked in a pizza shop (new to the area, just opened up), we had about 20 employees. If they deliver pizza 20 people isn't outrageous. On the other hand, if they don't deliver, more than 10 employees would be suspicious.

Many fast food workers don't work full time. They probably have two or three people there all the time and a few more during the busy hours. They are probably open on weekends, that increases the need for workforce if they work reasonable hours.

Full time ?
