Is this maybe useful for communicating now and in the future? I'm hoping that Voat.co remains the place to be for the most part but yeah, alternatives are good.....I haven't used this platform yet or any of its multiple iterations but I'm hoping that someone a little more knowledgeable than myself might be able to chime in here as to how this may or may not be useful to us. http://matrix.org/ and https://matrix.org/docs/projects/try-matrix-now.html (this page has a lot of interesting stuff, a lot of which is a bit over my head)
