BREAKING: Possible incident at Comet Ping pong DC (pizzagate)

A man just walked into the Comet restaurant with an assault rifle. No shots fired but everyone ran out. I'm next-door at the red fox coffeeshop. 10+ police cars are already here.

EDIT: a man just exited with his hands on his head. He was handcuffed and put in a squad car. Still holed up in the red fox.

“u/d COMET PINGPONG, 5037 Ct Av NW-DC. A man has surrendered to PD. SWAT-ERT and bomb techs will sweep Comet and man’s car parked outside.”

LOL...But all of the claims against the popular Northwest D.C. pizzeria are false and unfounded.

The D.C. Police Department said they are not investigating Comet Ping Pong and are instead keeping an eye on those who are threatening the restaurant and employees.
