BREAKING: Possible incident at Comet Ping pong DC (pizzagate)

A man just walked into the Comet restaurant with an assault rifle. No shots fired but everyone ran out. I'm next-door at the red fox coffeeshop. 10+ police cars are already here.

EDIT: a man just exited with his hands on his head. He was handcuffed and put in a squad car. Still holed up in the red fox.

“u/d COMET PINGPONG, 5037 Ct Av NW-DC. A man has surrendered to PD. SWAT-ERT and bomb techs will sweep Comet and man’s car parked outside.”

Well, at least now we know the DC Police Dept is in on it and likely know exactly what goes down on that block.

Don't expect them to be helpful in following any leads. Avoid contacting them with information etc.
