I don't buy that story of dogs signalling dead tissue in the room. First they wouldn't kill her in the room with her brothers sleeping just beside. Second even if they did kill her in the room they wouldn't keep her laying there for long so I really doubt any level of cell decomposition had the time to happen. Beside, even being alive, you are constantly shedding dead skin cells. How does the dog make a difference betwen the smell of someone who is dead and stayed 5mn in a bed, and someone who is alive but shed some dead skin cells? Cadaver dogs are meant to detect cadavers that had some level of decomposition going.
