I've been seeing this a lot. The Snopes article listed it as "false" basically without refuting anything too. It's almost like they're expecting people will only read the headline.

a lot of people are just reading the headline then instantly dismissing lol trust me iv asked a few of my people to look into it and they refrenced snopes,

i had no idea what snopes was but it didnt matter because they did not address a single fact

That's a point. In fact, most people do no more than glance at headlines and convey the substance of the headline to their friends. That's why actual articles are increasingly poorly written and lacking in content. Often, they don't even spellcheck the text before posting it online.
