Cecilia Kang is listed on the website for FOSI, whose members include powerful tech and telecom companies like Google, Amazon, Twitter. The MPAA is also involved. They seem to have a major stake in promoting anti-troll, anti-cyberbullying initiatives. She's listed on the site here:

But it gets weirder. So FOSI is actually a British organization that hosts VIP charity events in London and Abu Dhabi. At a recent event, they announced the launch of a global child abuse database.

the 'GRID' provides full reports and intelligence on former human trafficking crackdowns, which isn't suspicious in itself, but it shows that places journalists like Cecilia Kang between Silicon Valley interests and Government interests. It also suggests that she shrugged off a story involving the possible distribution of CHILD ABUSE online as a simple trolling prank without doing any of the due diligence she's clearly capable of. Also, many of the board members are members of the 'trust' & 'safety' councils present on Twitter etc., who seem to be only there to shutter subversive dialogue and censor breaking stories.
Again, I'm not accusing the NYT journalist of anything, but it's all worth looking into.

It's crazy how everyone is connected on one level or another. They are either connected to known pedos or connected to companies that supposedly fight child trafficking
